How can you make coffee more gut-friendly? ☕️

through ANCENASAN Admin on August 01, 2025

In order to make coffee more gastrointestinal-friendly, it is worth paying attention to or choosing varieties when buying coffee that are marked as less acidic in the flavor profile on the packaging. 👍

Another option is to prepare the coffee after Cold Brew Method.

The coffee is extracted with cold water over several hours. The slow extraction process with cold water gently releases the aromas, oils and caffeine from the coffee. 😋

This creates a milder and less bitter taste compared to traditional preparation methods.

➡️ And this is how it works: Coarsely ground coffee is mixed with water at room temperature (in a ratio of 1:4 to 1:8) and left in a sealed container in the refrigerator for about 12 to 24 hours.

The coffee is then passed through a filter to remove the ground coffee residue. The resulting concentrate can be drunk cold or warm depending on your taste and diluted with water or a milk of your choice.

Cold brew is known for its mild and less bitter taste and is appreciated by more and more people precisely because of its gentle aroma and low acidity.

Just try it out and put an end to the gastrointestinal alarm! 🤓
