Recipe: Orange and horseradish dressing with vanilla

Rezept: Orangen-Meerrettich-Dressing mit Vanille
Salad dressing with a difference: orange horseradish dressing with vanilla

  • 20g fresh ginger
  • 80 g vegan horseradish preparation (e.g. from Zwergenwiese or Byodo)
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 70 g virgin rapeseed oil (or mix 50:50 with linseed oil)
  • 10 g light balsamic vinegar (or apple vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¾ tsp herb salt
  • 3 drops orange oil (or grated orange peel)
  • 3 drops vanilla oil or ¼ teaspoon bourbon vanilla

Peel and roughly chop the ginger. Put all the ingredients together in the Thermomix or another high-performance blender and puree until creamy on the highest level for about 1 minute.

Tastes delicious in a green salad with shaved vegetable fennel and filleted oranges.
