The IFP Puro filter cartridge is a combined activated carbon membrane cartridge. The IFP Puro filter cartridge is primarily used when the line pressure is low or when a higher flow is desired (i.e. delivers more filtered water per minute).
The powerful IFP Puro scores points with the advantages of a hol fiber membrane (inside) with a microfiltration of 0.15 µm and, on the other hand, with a sintered activated carbon block (outside) with a filter fineness of 5 µm. Unwanted microorganisms, bacteria and fungi get caught in the hollow fiber membrane. Over 98% of microbial contamination is removed from your water. The adsorptive effect of the activated carbon block, however, removes chemical substances. For example, 90% of lead and copper are retained and the model filters out numerous pesticides and drug residues. Minerals dissolved in the water remain present.
The Ster-O-Tap® capillary membrane is tested according to ANSI/NSF Standard 53 (Cyst and Turbidity Reduction). The IFP Puro filter cartridges are ideal for low line pressure and enable bacterial contamination to be limited.

The filter cartridge must be changed after 6 months (according to DIN EN 806-5). In principle, 5,000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if water flow is noticeably reduced. This is not a defect in the filter used, but rather an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in unfiltered water.
You can make the change quickly and easily and enjoy freshly filtered water again quickly.
