Carbonit lime compact filter cartridge / replacement filter

Combined activated carbon and ion exchange resin cartridge. Combines the special properties of a sintered activated carbon block with water softening using ion exchange resin. Improves the taste of cold and hot drinks (especially improves the aroma of coffee and tea), protects household appliances from calcification and supports the preparation of healthy meals.
The ion exchange resin first reduces the overall hardness of the water, the downstream activated carbon block (10 µm) removes dissolved pollutants, odor and taste impairments as well as particles from 10 µm in size.

The silver coating on the activated carbon ensures additional hygienic safety, but is not a microbiological barrier. Note: Descaling solutions with bacteria barrier are available as serial dual devices (DUO-HP) 

Performance:

• depending on the hardness of the output water and the bypass setting
• Depending on the raw water hardness, a standing volume of up to 1,900 l (5 - 10° dH) or 450 l (11 - 25° dH) can be achieved
• The filter cartridge must be replaced if the typical limescale phenomena such as tea skin, loss of aroma or limescale deposits on surfaces occur again
• Filter fineness: 10 µm 
• Flow: 1.9 liters/min (at 4 bar line pressure)
• Filter change/service life: max. 6 months

The cartridge comes with two test strips to measure water hardness.
