WHY BITTERS?
We need bitter substances because we all hardly absorb (enough) valuable bitter substances through modern diets. The main reasons for this are:
- Our preference for sweet, salty and fatty foods ensures that our reward center in the brain is strongly activated and the consumption of these often high-calorie foods increases accordingly. At the same time, natural foods with their often slightly bitter taste, especially green leafy vegetables and herbs, are increasingly being pushed out of our diet.
- Modern plant breeding has led to bitter substances being increasingly bred out of vegetables, fruits, grains and legumes, so that almost nothing tastes really bitter and original anymore.
- The widespread use of pesticides also contributes to the disappearance of bitter substances. Bitter substances are natural defensive substances that protect the plant from predators or fungi, for example. If this protection is sprayed on plants from outside, they produce less of these bitter pesticides.
- Only a few people have learned how to handle and use wild herbs and spices as food. In addition, collecting wild herbs yourself requires specialist knowledge and is not possible all year round.
WHY THE BITTER HERBS OF ANCENASAN®?

ANCENASAN® Products differ significantly from other bitter products. The special thing about our products is the large variety of bitter herbs they contain, which enables the supply of a very large spectrum of different bitter substances in just one portion. The selected bitter herbs come from 6 different bitter herb classes.
All of our products are based on a recipe of 49 different bitter herbs and spices that has been tried and tested for over 25 years and was developed by experts (see below). DEVELOPED BY EXPERTS
The ANCENASAN® recipe of 49 herbs and spices was developed by Ann Beyer, holistic nutritional therapist, and her daughter Nadia Beyer, qualified nutritionist. With many years of experience and expertise in the areas of nutrition, intestinal health and bitter substances, they created this carefully balanced blend of bitter substances over 25 years ago.
THE PURITY AND QUALITY OF ANCENASAN®BITTER HERB PRODUCTS
Regular residue tests by an independent laboratory ensure that our 49 herbs and spices are free of pesticides, heavy metals, microorganisms and even mold toxins. We also do not use any preservatives or additives in all bitter products.
Our order ANCENASAN® herbal consists of 100% finely ground herbs that are mixed directly in warm water.
For the production of our two bitter extracts/concentrates, we only use natural pure substances as extraction agents, i.e. water and alcohol for the ANCENASAN® Bitter concentrate 49 as well as honey and apple cider vinegar for the ANCENASAN® Bitter concentrate 49 ULTRA.
Our capsules (ANCENASAN® In addition to the 49 herbs and spices, capsules also contain pure choline bitartrate powder (as a source of choline to support liver and nervous metabolism).
All of our products are vegan and gluten-free.

Our bitter herb products contain a high concentration of bitter substances and taste pleasantly aromatic and not too bitter. The special note of wild herbs and spices is retained and gives them a unique aroma. Even children usually quickly get used to the bitter taste.
We recommend our bitter herb capsules (ANCENASAN.) to people who are very sensitive to taste or are new to bitters® capsules) as well as our bitter drops without alcohol (ANCENASAN® Bitter concentrate 49 ULTRA). The latter have a mildly bitter and slightly sweet taste.

THE EASY USE OF ANCENASAN® BITTER HERB PRODUCTS
Bitter herb products from ANCENASAN® make it easy to absorb enough bitter substances all year round. They are easy to use and easy to integrate into everyday life.
You can choose between:
- the fine bitter herb powder ANCENASAN® herbal, which is mixed in a little warm water and drunk immediately,
- the ANCENASAN® capsules,
- the bitter drops with alcohol (ANCENASAN® Bitter concentrate 49) or
- the bitter drops without alcohol (ANCENASAN® Bitter concentrate 49 ULTRA).
All 4 products help us to absorb enough valuable bitter substances and they are recommended to be used daily - ideally before or after a meal. Both ANCENASAN® We recommend keeping some of the herbal powder and drops in your mouth before swallowing in order to activate the first bitter receptors on the tongue and oral mucosa. Other bitter receptors are located in the digestive tract and in numerous organs of our body.
MIRON VIOLET GLASS - THE PERFECT PACKAGING FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY
All of our bitter herb products are bottled in Miron violet glass. These special glasses filter out harmful rays of visible light and only allow certain portions of the rays to pass through. In this way, the ingredients and quality of our products are perfectly protected and the products are preserved in a natural way.
Miron violet glasses, for example, transmit 25%-45% of the light spectra between 380 and 420 nanometers (i.e. violet and UVA frequencies) and approximately 60% of the light spectra between 730 and 1050 nanometers (i.e. infrared frequencies). These specific wavelengths have the ability to additionally charge organic molecules energetically. In addition, bio-photons (light particles), which are a characteristic of plant vitality, can be kept in the glass.
