Ingredients (makes approx. 10 pieces):

100 g whole grain rice flour

150g corn flour

20 g corn starch

½ tsp bourbon vanilla

¼ tsp baking soda (baking soda)

2 tsp baking powder
-
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
-
½ tsp guar gum or locust bean gum

120 g Alsan organic margarine or butter
-
100 g raw cane sugar
-
9 drops of orange oil (for food)

3 tbsp rice drink
-
1 tbsp orange juice
Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 190 °C top/bottom heat.

Mix all dry ingredients well in a bowl.

Melt margarine or butter and sugar in the Thermomix for 5 minutes at 100 °C on level 2 (alternatively, warm it carefully in a pot and stir).

Add orange oil, rice drink, orange juice and the flour mixture to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix everything well into a dough or knead with your hands.

Form small balls out of the dough, flatten them into biscuits in your hand and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, approx. 4 cm apart.

Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes at 190°C.
